1) Set a Realistic Budget

Include plot price, legal fees, survey, transfer/stamp duties, utility connection estimates, and initial fencing/clearing.

2) Shortlist Locations

3) Title & Survey Verification

Do an official search for ownership, caveats, and charges. Engage a registered surveyor to confirm coordinates and beacon positions. Speak to LCs and neighbors.

4) Draft, Sign, Pay Safely

5) Register the Transfer

Pay applicable duties/fees and complete the transfer at the relevant land registry. Keep certified copies and receipts.
